Abstract

This article presents the notion of erasure (AUTOR, 2021;2022) to think about the relationship between captures and ruptures in the visual grammar of digital social networks. For that, we use the profile of the influencer BiankaNicoli, from Pernambuco, as a counterexample to discuss the possibility of non-normative articulations in digital environments. In our qualitative proposal, we discuss the question of the look (KAPLAN, 1983; MULVEY, 1997; COLLINS, 2002; MIRZOEFF, 1999, 2012), the examination (FOUCAULT, 1999) and the society of control (DELEUZE, 1990).

Clara Câmara é professora adjunta no curso de Mídias Digitais da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Doutora (PPGCOM/UFF) e Mestre (PPGC/UFPB) em Comunicação. Foi pesquisadora visitante no Programa de Pós-graduação em Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Maranhão/Imperatriz, com bolsa Fapema (2021/2022) e bolsista de pós-doutorado (bolsista Capes Brasil/Instituto da Democracia e da Democratização da Comunicação) no Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos (IESP) da UERJ, onde integrou o Laboratório de Estudos de Mídia e Esfera Pública, em 2020.
