This study is on the awareness and perception media practitioners in South-East Nigeria have about the use of e-governance. The survey method was used; and from a population of 2,671, a sample of 1,340 was chosen through stratified proportional sampling. Theoretical framework was hinged on the Development Communication Theory. Findings were analysed using the SPSS. The study concluded that there is a low level of knowledge on operations of e-governance among media practitioners in South-East Nigeria. Recommendations made included that media practitioners should imbibe the culture of periodic upgrading of their knowledge.
